The body of Dancehall Artiste J Capri is to laid to rest on Monday
December 14, with her memorial service being held at the UWI Chapel,
starting at 9:45am.
Prior to the funeral service, her nine-night will be held on
Saturday December 12, at the Little Copa Club, 8 Miles in Bull Bay,
East Kingston.
This was announced via her social media pages.
The Entertainer who passed away on Friday December 4, was involved a
car accident on November 23 and was rushed to University Hospital of
the West Indies where she was placed in an induced coma.
An autopsy was carried out on Saturday and her father revealed that
an infection allegedly contracted subsequent to her surgeries, led to
lung complications and a failed kidney which reportedly contributed to
her death.
J Capri who's correct name is Jordan Phillips, is well known for
singles such as 'Whine And Kotch'', Reverse it'', "Pull Up To Mi
Bumper'' among others.
She was 23 years old.
